As a mixed media artist, Jothi’s work engages a visual language of storytelling. A visual narrative of what was is and could be, she takes you on a journey of self-discovery. Working with acrylic, ink, water colour and pastel, and using various surfaces such as, canvas, stone, wood, and metal, Jothi creates colour, texture and line that engenders a sense of movement and rhythm. Always seeking to move beyond conventional forms of expression, Jothi’s artistic process reflects the layers and nuanced nature of lived experience. Currently engaged in the soulful work of exploring the divine feminine, Jothi’s work conveys an inquiry into her life’s purpose; who is she when she takes off all of all her hats!
